SUPPORTING OUR MINISTRY OF DEFENCE IN THEIR DAY TO DAY BUSINESS
We are very proud to support the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in providing their retail stores with supplies.
We have over 30 years of experience dealing with the forces, supplying the MOD via the retail stores on the bases through a partnership with facilities management companies such as Aramark & Sodexo. We supply all our customers in a very efficient “just in time” manner allowing the stores to manage their stock levels efficiently.
We started our work with the MoD in 2017 when Andrew McLardie joined the ranks of ISD Limited. Initially, we supplied 3 of their sites, but now we are pleased to be supplying 27 sites across Cyprus, Northern Ireland, and mainland UK.
What we offer
We have over 500 items that we stock and supply for them on an ongoing basis, but we are also able to source anything extra that they may need on a buy as you require basis, or that they are struggling to source elsewhere.
It is a real privilege to be able to know that we are stocking their convenience stores on site and as with all of our clients and customers, we work hard to ensure that their supplies are always with them when they need them.
So what can a company like ISD Limited supply to the MoD? Well the answer is, pretty much anything and everything. We supply them with everything that forces personnel use in their rest and recuperation when they are back from manoeuvres….from shaving gel and shoe polish, through to ironing boards and warm weather clothing. Other items include:
- Audio/Electrical items like Bluetooth ear buds, phone charger cables and hair clippers.
- Textile items like pillows and duvets, bath & hand towels.
- Watches
- Bottles, plastic mugs, plates, bowls and cutlery. Drinks bottles & food containers.
- Household items like garments organisers, plastic hangers, irons and kettles.
- Military products, head torches, backpacks and hard wearing combat socks.
- Personal grooming items razors, razor blades and shaving gel.
